City of Barnesville Solid Waste Policy
I designed and developed this animated explainer video using Vyond to help my city creatively inform residents of the solid waste policy. I began the project by scripting the narration in a storyboard, then developed the characters, props, animations, text overlays, movements, effects, transitions, masking, and timings. I embedded background music to convey emotion and used timing for appropriate sound effects. I created the job aid to enhance the video and provide an additional deliverable for the city. The video, storyboard, and job aid are used with their permission.

Dolly Goodpuppy
I created this Camtasia video to inform the public about Dolly Goodpuppy, a non-profit dog rescue society located in my hometown. (Noah, the main character in Adventures with Noah is a Dolly dog - see if you recognize him in this video.) The purpose of the video is to provide awareness of Dolly Goodpuppy and increase donations and volunteers. I began by researching Dolly Goodpuppy's mission and values and finding their greatest needs. I created an outline, storyboard, and script. Screencasting, transitions, highlights, spotlights, and zoom/pan were used to create visual interest.

Adventures with Noah
I created a Vyond video to introduce myself in a creative way. Since I don't like to talk about myself, I thought my dog, Noah, would be perfect for the job. I began by scripting the narration. To create a talking dog, I designed a customized character the same color as Noah, cropped the customized character to just the mouth, placed the mouth on the dog prop and attached the voice over to the mouth. Within the video, I used customized characters, props, masking, movements, timed sound effects, and background music.
